It's official!!! I am two thirds of the way done!!! It's a little scary to think that after all this time Baby Antfellner's arrival is just 12 weeks away.
I went in for my 6 month check up a couple of weeks back and at that time they had me come back for the glucose test (gestational diabetes). That is not fun. I had to drink this nasty drink that looked like fruit punch but tasted like cough medicine with about 2 cups of sugar. After an hour wait they drew my blood and I was sent on my way. About 4 days later I got the call that the test results were normal (Woo Hoo!!!) but my blood count is low which means I'm slightly anemic. So now along with my prenatal vitamin and I have to take an iron pill twice a day. This hasn't been the most pleasant experience. The additional iron makes me a little irritable so now I have to add additional fiber to my diet. Not fun!!!
The nursery is getting painted next weekend by my Aunt Les and Uncle Skip. Once that is done we can load in the furniture. That is what I am most looking forward to. Once that is done I can start really decorating in there.
With the holidays just around the corner it makes me a little scared to know that in no time he will be here demanding all of our time and love. So exciting but scary at the same time.
