A BIG Update!
How could I forget to post about HALLOWEEN?!?!?!?!?!? Lucas LOVED Halloween this year. He could not wait to get into his costume and go trick or treating. By the end of the night he was pretty pooped!

The day after the party we just hung out and spent some time with the family...I definitely got my fill of Avery for the week...I'm ready to see them all again!
Getting my fill of Avery, such a little snuggle bug
We started our Halloween celebration a week before down by Dave and Nikki's. This was the first year we were able to make it down for their Pumpkin Carving Contest. We also took this opportunity to try to get a few fall shots of the kids together. Here are some pictures from that weekend.

Lots of love for his little cousin
He was a BIG fan of Dave and Nik's ghosts
The Friday before Halloween my Mom took Lucas out to see GiGi Johnson and show off his halloween costume. On Halloween afternoon Lucas, my Dad and I went to visit GiGi Carrion.

And of course that night we headed out to go door to door for some CANDY!!! Here's Gamma and Papa with Elmo.

He couldn't get to the next house fast enough...RUN, RUN, RUN!!!
This past weekend was my Dad's 60th birthday. Nikki, Ashley, Mom and had been planning for a few months a surprise party for him. Little did we know that he knew something was up about a week before. Even though he knew there was something in the works I don't think he expected what he got. Most of his family and friends were there to celebrate this milestone in his life. Us girls had decided that we were going to have a Roast of my Dad. It was HILARIOUS!!! His siblings spoke about the early years, reminiscing about his love of music, the way he tortured his younger siblings, etc. It was all in good fun and he even said, "It could've been a lot worse". The Roast ended with gifts from his family. His kids and their families bought him a signed Bobby Hull jersey and his siblings gave him an extremely nice leather coat. All in all, the night was a success. He enjoyed his birthday to the fullest! Here are the pictures from the evening.
