Lucas went in for his 18 month check up last week (woops, I was a month late on that one) and he is a whopping 36lbs 5oz and is 35in tall (that's 2ft 11in,
YIKES) Our pediatrician says that Lucas is in perfect condition and is pleased with the way he is growing and developing. The doctor mentioned to us that children his age have a vocabulary of about 5-10 words. My initial thought was Are you SERIOUS!?!?!?!? Lucas says that many words within the first 5 minutes of him being awake! At least he's above average with his vocab. But then again, when hasn't he been above average :) Lucas has definitely been keeping us busy and I actually think the "terrible 2's" have kicked into full gear. He definitely knows how to push all those buttons with Mommy. As crazy as it's been with him I am loving every minute of it.
As most of you know Ralph started his new job a few weeks ago. He is working for Marianos Fresh Market which is located in Arlington Heights. It's been an adjustment with the drive but it is totally worth it. He was hired on as a manager for their hot foods department and he is also in charge of the catering. They are grooming him to be one of the managers of their new location on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. My husband is moving up and I am VERY proud of him. So now that I've caught everyone up on the latest details of our lives here are some pictures of the family...
