June 2010-Present Day

I just realized that I haven't posted anything in a VERY LONG TIME!!! There is a good reason for that. The month of June was way to busy!!!! I guess I should explain why it was so busy. The month started off with Nikki's Baby Shower. Ashley, my Mom and I planned the entire event. It turned out perfect. Nikki loved all the small details that went into making it special! Here are a few photos of the day.

After the baby shower Ashley and I spent a few days with Nikki and Dave. Ashley and I were FINALLY able to use our Christmas presents from Nikki. A day at the spa. Massages and pedicures. Who could ask for a better gift. We did dinner with them both that night. We also got to spend some time getting the nursery ready for the arrival of Baby Glacinski. Dave did an awesome job on the painting and the wainscoating. (did I spell that right?) We left on Tuesday afternoon but my trips to Bloominton weren't over yet. That following weekend Lucas, my Mom and I left again for Nikki's. She was having another baby shower for her friends and family in the Bloomington area. Cathy threw a fabulous shower and Nikki again was showered with everything from onsies, diapers, cute litte dresses, butt paste, etc, etc, etc. Lucas and I left Sunday evening and headed back to Belvidere. We came home to our newest addition. However, a puppy didn't work out as well as planned. We ended up giving the puppy back after a few days because it was just too hard!!! Ralph and I were either neglecting Lucas or the puppy and it wasn't fair to either. We will definitely try again but maybe when Lucas is a little older and understands the words "stay here".

We are now at 6/19-6/20. This weekend my cousin Katie got married. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding/reception. Of course she was a beautifly bride. Even Lucas was invited to the party and he had his own place card. The day after the wedding Mom, Dad and Ashley came out to Belvidere to celebrate Father's Day. We spent the day outside playing with toys and Lucas splashing in the pool. Here are some photos from that weekend.

Believe it or not my crazy month continued the following weekend with a going away party for my girlfriend on Saturday and a bridal shower on Sunday for my other cousin Michelle. Again, more photos from that weekend.

Before I knew it I was getting ready for the 4th of July. This past weekend was a blast. We started the weekend off celebrating my Great Uncle's 50th anniversary as a priest. He was ordained 50 years ago at Techny Towers in Northbrook, IL and the mass took place there as well on Saturday. It's amazing to see someone so passionate about what he does today as he was 50 years ago when he started. Congratulations Fr. Larry!!! We were so honored to celebrate with you!

4th of July was celebrated at Uncle Skips and Aunt Lesley's home in Roselle, IL. The day was perfect as usual. Great food, great conversations with family, and AWESOME fireworks. Lucas almost made it through the entire show. He fell asleep at the last 5minutes. At least he got to see most of them.

So now I've caught my family and friends up on what has been happening in our lives over the last month or so. July promises to be just as busy. Birthdays, anniversary's and of course our Family Vacation at the end of the month. Before I know it it will be August and I will be anxiously awaiting the arrival of my niece. I'll be sure to update once that happens.

Love to all of you!!!!
