Has it already been 3 weeks?!?!?

Here he is...almost 3 weeks old. I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Being a mother has completely changed my life. I love every minute I spend with him...even the tough ones. Lucas is a joy to both Ralph and I. The doctor said he seems to be a little colicky but nothing that is too terrible. He sleeps and eats like a champ! We went to see the pediatrician yesterday morning and he now weighs in at 10lbs 13oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. So he's gained 13oz and is a whole inch and a half longer!!! That's my boy!

Ralph is great with him and I love seeing the father side in him come out. He already has plans for his first hunting and fishing trips....the boy is only 3 weeks old...!!!!
Grandma and Grandpa are just floored by him. They never seem to get enough of their time with Lucas.

Aunt Nikki and Aunt Ashley are great with him. It's hard to even hold my son when either of them are around...they just love him to pieces!

If I had to sum it all up I would have to say that life with a child is priceless. I never want to close my eyes for fear of missing something exciting that he will do!!!

Lucas Raymond Antfellner

He finally made his arrival on January 26, 2009 at 6:50pm via C-Section. He was 10lbs even and 22 inches long. He is the new love of my life and Ralph and I are so happy to have him home with us. I'm healing well...little by little each day. The worst part of all of it is the abundance of emotions I am experiencing. Today is day 6 and Lucas is thriving at home. He sleeps about 3 hours straight and then is up for about an hour for a feeding and a quick change. Then he's off to sleep again for about another 3-4 hours. I feel good and not overly tired. That could all change though by next week.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and love that they are sending our way. Can't wait for you all to meet him!!!
