Baby Lucas...Here..He..Comes!!!
From the voice of Ashley
So as I am writing this Bo is prepping for a C-Section
Robyn had a doctors appointment today and the had set her up with an ultrasound. The ultrasound relayed that little Lucas is not so little. He was weighing in at about 10 1/2 pounds give or take a pound! So at that point they decided a c-section would be the best option!!!
so now at this point we are sitting at swedish memorial, robyn is in the OR getting the spinal block and ralph will be heading in soon!!! So in about 10 to 15 minutes Robyn will be a mother, Raloh will be a father, Nikki and I will be an aunt, And Mom and Dad will both be Grandparents! Love to you all and we will keep you all informed!!

The Drs Appt that Ended with a trip to the Hospital!
So I had my 39 week check up yesterday with a growth ultra sound to see how big Lucas is. The ultra sound went great!!! No 10lbs. He is about 8lbs give or take a few. After that I saw the doctor and again he did and exam to see how dialated I was and if anything had changed from the prior week...well I'm still about 1-2cm but my blood pressure was high. He was concerned so he sent me to the hospital to have some tests run and to have me hooked up to a fetal monitor and a machine that monitors my contractions. After a 4 hour stay they sent me home. All the tests came back normal. My contractions were/are about 3-6 minutes apart but nothing strong enough that I can feel. I feel some just not every 3-6 minutes. They did send me home with quite a nice parting gift though...a 24 hour urine test!!!!! They gave me two huge milk jug like containers that I have to pee in for 24 hours straight! Everytime I go it has to be in there and if I forget and go in the toilet I have to start all over again. It's been a fun 18 hours. So tonight at 7 I have to bring my sample back to the hospital for them to test. Talk about fun. Tomorrow I go back to see the Doc for a follow up. Hopefully it wont lead to another trip to the labor and delivery floor just yet.

Doctor Visit Update
So I went to the doctor today for my weekly check up and got some more interesting news. First, my bp is a little high but nothing that they are concerned with. Second, the swollen feet...not going away any time soon. Guess those foot massages will have to continue every night!!! and Third...I'm already 1-2cm dialated! What this means is that if I start to get regular strong contractions labor can start fairly quickly. Lately they have been pretty irrecgular and feel like menstrual cramps. I have to say when I heard that I was dialated I did freak out a little. The doctor did tell me that I should just relax and be very consious of what is happening in my body. I feel great otherwise! Very ready to become a Mom and I know Ralph is ready for fatherhood.
Sorry so short...but not too much more to say!
